Beer pong is easily the most popular college pastime. Playing the game provides students with the opportunity to combine athletic prowess, and the thrill of competition. The more people involved in the game the more fun. The rules of pong are simple, even better the game is cheap.

This is a fairly new game. Most people feel that it first started to get played approximately 20 years ago. There are conflicting stories about exactly where and when the game was first played, but one thing is indisputable, the game quickly became very popular. Early games of pong were played without paddles, which were later added. The rules of beer pong are very simple.

Before the game, cups must be set up in a pyramid. The bottom row of the pyramid should have 4 cups. The next three rows should consist of 3, 2, and 1 cup. The rims of the cups should all be touching. A player from each team is given a chance to shoot the ping pong ball into the beer cups. If a person misses, and their opponent makes the shot, the loser has to drink the cup of beer that the ball landed in.

Just because a person's college days might be behind them doesn't mean that they can never play beer pong again. PongRus is a great game for a friendly get together. Even though it is possible to play indoors, the game can get messy and the number of game players is limited by the size of the room. It is usually best to plan games outdoors.

There is a great deal of debate about what the best beer to use for the game is. The one thing that everyone agrees on is that, since beer pong uses a fair amount of beer, it should be one of the cheaper brands. Since the game is also supposed to be fun, the beer should be something that people actually want to enjoy. If a game of beer pong is one the agenda for the night, you should plan on doing some comparison shopping.

If a friendly game of "pong" is on the list of planned activities at a party, it is important to make sure that everyone has a good time, but also avoids doing anything stupid. None of the players should end up getting out of hand or too rowdy.

The first thing the party host needs to do is make sure no one is going to drink too much. Arrangements can be made in a variety of ways. The people not playing can act as referees to make sure the games run smooth.
