Hmm I could definitely see him gettin' in. But if he does get in, then Mega Man has to be in, too. I'm also convinced that Bowser Jr. and Waluigi will be in.

..Why does he have to be in? As much as I want Waluigi, one thing will bother me; Will he be part of the Mario franchise because he's only been in Mario games or will he be in the Wario franchise as he's Wario's brother? It will feel off if he's Mario franchise but Wario isn't. |

Waluigi is a Mario character. He originated in a Mario spinoff, has only appeared in Mario spinoffs, and still has yet to appear in a Wario game. Just becuase he's Wario's partner, doesn't mean he's part of the Wario franchise. If you want even more evidence, you can always look here.

The Mario series is "complete" anyways. We have the protagonist (Mario), the other protagonist (Luigi), we have the damsel in distress (Peach), and we have the "bad guy" (Bowser). Junior would be an OK addition, because Smash needs more villains, but is not required. Waluigi IMO, is unnecessary. He can remain as an assist trophy.

Eh, I suppose that's true seeing as they removed a Mario rep, I don't think they're adding any.
Am I the only one who dislikes Link's Skyward Sword look? I know they'll probably use it, but I hope there's some chance that TP's will be used.. |

They're gonna use the Skyward Sword incarnation of Link at least, Zelda and Ganondorf are questionable, Zelda because of Sheik, and Ganondorf because he wasnt in SS. Unless they have concept art of these characters in SS artstyle like they did with Sheik for Brawl.
