What's everyone's opinion on this OVA coming out? Personally I hate that the cast is just rip-offs of Kite,BlackRose,and Balmung.Isn't that like the 5th copy of Kite in the series?

Why would you hate that? It's been said before that, since it's just an MMO, PC's will often look a lot like others and it's fairly common to be grouped with users who look similar to people on your friends list. The fact that two of them are chicks and one's a guy says that it will be very different, aside from design. It also looks like they're going back to my favorite formula, the one of .hack//Legend of the Twilight. Much easier to get into and none of that crappy emo s*** that Haseo upchucked. Character design looks a lot more like .hack, too. The stuff from Root was just... out of place.

It doesn't seem bad at all. I'd watch it. It does remind me of Legend of the Twilight also.Which was also my favorite. It was short and sweet and I hope Quantum is also.

Yeah I guess you're right. Haseo and some of Roots/G.U. reminds me more of Naruto then .Hack// And here is some more news, It's only 3 episodes.
