It's "like a better version of New Super Mario Bros. Wii" because it's pretty much the exact same game.

Aaand, Luigi U is out, does someone has this game already? Looks like just another mario rehash for me, god why don't they just make a game like Mario Galaxy/Sunshine 3D Land is neat but, I just prefer games like Galaxy/Sunshine/64

Because it's an add on to New Super Mario Bros... It's speed run type versions of Mario Bros. stages, not a new game. More traditional 3D games will come out soon. It's just a matter of time before the next Galaxy.

you can also buy Luigi U in a store tho, but yeah you're right i guess So Mario 3D world isn't a replacement of an traditional 3D game like Galaxy?

I'll be honest, the collector in me wants that sweet a** green Luigi case. Even though I don't really like NSMB.
It's only $30, I guess. I might think about it whenever I end up getting a Wii U.

Don't think of it as a 3D Mario game in the same way as Galaxy. Think of it as part of the 2D saga, and it just happens to be in 3D. The next 3D platformer will come out soon enough.

Im thinking they might have a different game for the next 3D Mario, instead of doing another Galaxy.
