That's odd. I remember liking it the least out of all the floyd albums I heard but then again I listened to 4 of them in the same sort of vicinity and animals was the last so maybe I was all floyded out at that point. Maybe I'll have to listen to it again sometime, I f*** love pink floyd.

Hiatus!!!

Not many people have been able to come as of late so we're gonna step back for a couple of weeks while I'm off working

Our regularly scheduled programming returns on the 24th, with Soundgarden's Superunknown. I encourage everyone who can and likes these things to make it to that, otherwise we're gonna have to consider moving the time or maybe doing something different altogether. It's pretty hard to get this group together, y'know?

If anyone wants to just do standard music listening today in place of the album, let me know and I'll probably join you

Just tweet at me or send me a message on Steam or whatever

This week's album:
Superunknown
Soundgarden
Image
Grunge, hard rock

Superunknown is the fourth album by American rock band Soundgarden, released on March 8, 1994
through A&M Records. It is the band's second album with bassist Ben Shepherd. Superunknown
continued a departure from the band's earlier releases while displaying a more diverse range of influences.

Superunknown was a critical and commercial success and became the band's breakthrough album.
It debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, selling 310,000 copies in its opening week and
reached high positions on charts worldwide. Five singles were released from the album: "The Day I
Tried to Live", "My Wave", "Fell on Black Days", "Spoonman", and "Black Hole Sun", the latter two of
which won Grammy Awards and helped Soundgarden reach mainstream popularity. In 1995, the album
was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Rock Album. The album has been certified five times
platinum by the RIAA in the United States and has sold around 9 million copies worldwide and remains
Soundgarden's most successful album.

We're kicking it back up this week fellas
If you like what we do here then show up!!! If nobody comes to these I'll have to explore other options lol
