Her eyes wandered over the boulders, intentionally placed. "There is a foulness in the air.." she'd comment in a whisper. "Eton is right.. thees is most certainly an ambush..how should we proceed?" she ventured to ask, keeping her eyes up rather than down kept her mind off the fear of flight, even when the altitude was lowered, she had that deep seeded paranoia within.

Tania allowed Windy to go into a hover beside the others. "So what are we going to do now?" she asked. She worried slightly about who would be setting a trap in the mountains like this. "Maybe it was set by bandits" thought Tania worriedly. She looked around the rest of the valley trying to glimpse a bandit running about below.

Barbas had not known what to do now. He wandered off, standing outside of the Inn. He leaned against the side of it, reflecting once more on the day. Not too boring. Perhaps I will make this a bit more permanent, not like I have anything better to do.

The archer's came out and took aim and fired at the pegasi. They reacted though and flew down further to avoid the arrows. Below, Bandits were gathering below. surrounding the group.

Thier leader seemed to approach them, stepping forward. A large man with long slicked back black hair and red spalshed here and there. Loss of one eye, nothing but an eye patch over it with a cigar in his mouth. He wore baggy pants and that was it. In his right hand that had three fingers he gripped a steel sword.

"What do we have here, two pegasus riders and some other women. Heh." The man spoke. "Kill the men and take the women. After we're through with em....they'll fetch a pretty penny."

Tania tried not to look afraid as they flew around, dodging arrows. She had expected bandits, though she wished that her hunch was correct. A chill went up her spine once she saw the man who looked like he was mauled by a bear. A second chill caused her to shiver when he said "we're through with them" She stared at the bandits without a hint of fear "There is no way that I shall let these vagabonds trounce about on my lady hood" she thought determinedly.

Rana placed his hand on Tania's shoulder. He whispered softly into her ear, "Fly lower, dodging arrows won't last forever." Rana took his hand back and breathed deeply. He hadn't fought in a long time, but such things came naturally to him. He reached up and pushed a frozen strand of silvery hair from his eyes, staring steadily at the man who appeared to be leader.

Tania took a breath and listened to Rana, she trusted him for some strange reason. She flew lower, so that she was somewhat close to the ground.

Serene looked around, then looked up out the trench. She saw the men firing down upon them, and her fear of bandits kicked in once again. "If only he was around again, then we'd have a little hope in getting out of this trench." she thought. She dare not throw her lance, at the chance of losing it below them, so she sat there, letting Black King dodge the arrows.

Rana held as tightly as he could to Windy, then extended his arm towards one archer. Shadows sprung ready from the ground, and twisted around his waist. The bandit dropped his weapon and Rana twitched. There was a tiny crack, and the shadows dissipated around the now still man.

The man dropped to the ground dead, cold and stiff. The others now had their attention set on Seren's pegasus.

"Serene, keep flying around. I'm not good up here." Eton said as he posistioned himself on the pegasus. "Keep flying, try to avoid the arrows and bring me lower to the ground."


The celebration began, music was being played, beer drank, overall a good time being had. Revan approached Barbas.

"Stop...moping around, come on!" He shouted to him. "Have a drink!"

Serene heard what Eton said and started moving down the trench. "Where exactly do you want to land? I don't want to take any chances and try landing above. Could I drop you off below instead?" she asked, continually dodging arrows

Barbas shook his head. "I don't drink." He stated. "I'm ready for anything, twenty-four seven. Drinking may blur my vision, or throw my judgment of the wind off balance. Thus leading to a misplaced arrow." Barbas turned to Revan. "I try not to miss. I hit 85% of my targets, and I intend to keep it that way."

"I'm coming with you" she'd blare out to eton as she readied herself to jump off whence they reach lower ground; she trusted her life be safer on ground level with malevolent bandits than she did atop this flying steed. Arrows whizzing past her head, barely missing death.

"Alright. Oh, think nothing of this."

Eton took Tara's hand and leapt off, bringing her with him once the pegasus was at it's lowest point. As Tania's one flew about, Tekun hugged her.

"Stay safe." He said and leapt off and rolled as he drew his blade.

"Come on!" Revan said. "Loosen up!"

Barbas thought it over. I should be safe enough here... Not used to relying on other people. He then nodded. "Fine, I'll have a beer." He said with a shrug. "However, if I were the enemy, I would attack during the victory party. So I'll be only having one, just in case."
