It's a good thing I don't use those, I just use a ABS which is ok until the newest version comes out which is version 2.0. Then it becomes win! When 2.0 comes out, not only do your allies follow you on a catapillar system, but they also fight with you on the map against monsters! :wee: Also with more bugs fixed and more features added!

No, I'm a basic mod... you should try asking someone like Phratt, Ray Fletcher, Spikeman, DT or Hakker.

You:
1) Download the demo
2) Copy the script into your game
3) Import the 2 picture graphics in your game

Basically yeah, download the demo. It let's you play about 10 songs from XP.

It's not that simple.

Ahh, 2k3, a personal favorite of mine.

For the simplest of characters (people who stand still and do nothing but talk to you when you press the button), make a new event, leave the settings as they are, and change the graphic to the character you want. In the event pool to the right, make a new event code and make it "Show Message" (or maybe it's "Display Text" or something like that), type your message in the box (e.g.: Man: "Hello, boy. This town is nice, isn't it? it's too bad there are monsters just outside the gates..."), and use Enter/Return when text passes the first faint line on the left... you don't want text to pass that or it won't show up.

In-game, walk up and face the person and press Enter/Spacebar/Z. It talks!

After the basics (or in between), you start tampering with Autonomous Movement, Animation Type, Event Pages (highest number with conditions met is what the event is at a moment), all other Event Codes, and don't forget to name your event or you're screwed (Teleport/Transfer events don't count) :P .

Good luck, have fun, don't give up, learn it well, have more fun, make that game, play it, have even more fun. (Ask me anything as I'm an RPGM Genius!!! :headbang: )

In RPG Maker 2003 When I test out my rpg and die (losing all of my party members) I lose the battle and keep playing the game and when I reach another battle then I die automatically and the game keeps going on and on. How do I make death normal?

In the Database, under System2, check the lower-right-hand corner. There should be some options pertaining to deaths. Make it so that you don't automatically teleport/call common event, then death will kill you. :P

Whoops, I meant to say Battle Setting. System2 had nothing of the sort.

I'm pretty sure "iPod Script" is something that, when you put it in your game, you can choose what music you want to listen to in-game (most likely from the menu or by pressing some keys on the keyboard that aren't already reserved for normal commands, like select & cancel).

...so it has nothing to do with an actual iPod.
