Pyscho I like you as much as the next guy, but if you sincerely think Pikachu is in any form 'underrated' then I think you might need a reality check.

I mean I forgive you for not liking a luchadore hawk (one of the best possible things in the universe) but literally everyone on the planet likes Pikachu. Enough people have him on their team in the Pokémon games simply because he is Pikachu. That is not 'underrated' in the slighest.

Im glad you're happy with his inclusion though.

pikachu might be popular in the real world, but that kind of popularity makes him generally something the x_hard-x-CORE_x internet audience ignores or even dislikes (for legit reasons or just to be a hipster f***)

Neither the 'real world' nor the 'x_hard-x-CORE_x internet audience' dislike pikachu though. Obviously there will always be people that will dislike pikachu for one way or another but that doesn't mean he's underrated.

Rather I think Psycho may have ment Pikachu is underrated in competetive play or so, but even there he is not underrated so much as other pokémon simply being better/more useful.

it was just from my experiences though so, from what I'VE seen, pikachu is underrated for this reason
BUT somewhere deep down i also thought he was a little underrated competitively
as steven pointed out though, other pokemon could easily be better/more useful, so i dont actually have any way to prove that
