Tornado? I know that Star Spin clanks with it tho :P Leaves both of them on 0 lag afterwards, so make sure to act fast afterwards.

Not always reliable. Most good Ichigo's mix-up between Side-Special and Dash-Attack, doing them at timing and distances where the opponent can't react or punish (i.e.;about to land from the air).

Side-Special only has two vulnerable points; at the beginning when he disappears, and a few frames before the slash when he reappears. Anything in between that is a invincible frames.

There is a small gap were there's no hit-box. It's the spot right behind where he reappears. It's difficult to positions yourself there however as the moves is chargeable. It isn't worth the risk on such a guess.

Mario is fun to play. He does do well against some higher tiered characters such as BM and Link.

I love getting his edge guards in. I also like getting his combos in because to me they feel so rewarding due to being harder to pull off.

It demonstrates that (reverse) cape glide is possible from a walk, and that it has the potential to be a difficult-to-pull-off but ridiculously stylish edgeguard option.

Guys, guys, guys. I have just found that you can cancel Starspin after using fair :0
It does only 1 hit but you can pull off any move after it.
You do not want to use another move while you are falling after using fair or it won't work.

Wicked cool. You can bait an option out with Fair and as your opponent tries to punish your ending lag, go into Star-Spin xx Dsmash. And this works for all specials too. If you Fair before you Up-Special to recovery, it'll have no landing lag.

Wow, that is actually amazing. This opens up those high recovery options that almost everyone but Mario has in this version. Neato.

Some things I have noticed playing Mario:
Ichigo is actually a good matchup for Mario, as long as the Ichigo uses his Nspec.
The Cape is the only reason Mario has good matchups against projectile based characters. Use it against Samus and Megaman.
In most cases if you avoid an upair with him by falling right before the attack, Mario Tornado is a great punishing move.
Fireballs are great at close range charge canceling.
The Super Jump Punch isn't that great for knockback, but it racks up damage nicely.
Dittoing makes a longer game that most dittos.

Now notice that I am a noob.
