[i told you all] oh christ here I go turning into a sci-fi nerd Ryu and Ken wouldn't have fit at all in the storyline. Their significance in SF canon picks up around the first tournament. Which...is hinted at at the very end of the movie. There's a "Street Fighter tournament in Bangkok. You want in?" Chun-Li turns it down, but it could possibly make for a follow :VGuile actually would have fit - but in the storyline Charlie (who's based on the SF2V anime character) is still working at Interpol - which was prior to him meeting Guile...anywhere <_< _________________

I think America should just lay off making Street Fighter movies and leave it to the anime guys in Japan...
