[SEASON 3] [ABOUT]In short, you're trying to be the last player on the island (the game board) so that you can escape it and go back to living your normal life. You have to collect these things called "IC Chips" (one is embedded into every player's hand). The number of IC chips you must collect is dependent on how many people are playing the game, how you get the number of IC chip needed to win is completely up to you as long as it tay within the restrictions placed on you throughout the game. so yea, umm... below this is where you will find all the rules and stuff you'll need in order to win and all that...
[GENERAL TURN RULES]• 1 turn per day.
• up to 3 actions per day.
• the 3 action can be any combination of moving, attacking, and radar pinging.
• send
ME your daily actions through a forum PM.
[MOVING]• the total amount of spots you can move in one day is 3 (three), which is the exact number of actions you get per day. so, moving 3 (three) times in one day means you've used up all 3 (three) of your actions that you get per day... simple.
• you can move to any space that is adjacent to the one you are currently standing on. if you are moving in a path (more than 1 (one) spot),then you must tell me (through forum PMs) the spot you are currently on followed by the spot you want to end your moving on.
•
this box here demonstrates how you know what spot you are on:COORDINATE LOCATIONS FORMAT INFORMATION: show • coordinate locations are written in this format: A#,B#
• in the image, player 1 (red) is on spot "A4,B6" . . . Player 2 (blue) is on spot A21,B30
[ATTACKING]• attacking is dependent on what type of BIM (your weapon) you own.
• you start the game with 1 (one) BIM type and a certain number of BIMs depending on which type you have.
•
the post after the OP displays all BIM types in the game and demonstrates how they work[IC CHIP SONAR/RADAR]every player has an
IC Chip, therefore every player has the ability to use sonar/radar pings.
• can only use sonar 1 (one) time every 2 (two) days, so
USE IT WISELY• sonar/radar pings from 2 different players can cancel each other out if 2 (two) different pings from 2 (two) different players intersect each other. (
• if you happen to "ping" someone using the sonar, then I will reveal to you that person's current location.
• if you happen to be "pinged" by someone else's sonar, then you will be notified, but you will not be told where that player's exact location is. You will only be told the general area of that player in relation to your current location via compass directions (North, NorthEast, East, SouthEast, South, SouthWest, West, NorthWest)
• sonar/radar ping does not detect players that did not move during that turn/day before the ping happened.
•
this box displays how much range 1 (one) sonar/radar ping covers:SONAR RADAR PING RANGE: show • player 1 (red) is in the center of the sonar/radar ping
• "pinged" area (green) is 4 hexagons outward from the pinged location
[GAME BOARD INFORMATION]• as opposed to previous iterations of the Btooom!! game series, the map used for this game (if you haven't noticed already) uses hexagonal tiles instead of square tiles.
• there is an ongoing "wind" effect that affects the entire board. this works in conjunction with the "Blazing Gas BIM" only. Wind direction vary between all of the compass directions. wind direction and wind speed are posted along with the weekly postings of the map's status.
• Item drops will be located in random areas on the map. there will be 1 (one) random item drop per week. the item is unknown to all player until it is collected. the player that collects the item will be the only individual who knows what that item is. items range from a multitude of things, so if you get an item, I will personally explain to you what the item does, how to use it, etc. through forum PMs.
[GAME POSTINGS AND GENERAL INFORMATION]• I will post a status on what the map looks like 1 (one) time per week.
• map status posting only display how BIMs have affected the map, not where player are located (if you want to find where players are located, use your sonar/radar ping function).
• players can win through being in an alliance, so long as both players have enough chips to win the game together. otherwise, they'll still have to play the game out until there i a single player surviving.
