Game was rushed... That is all.

It was, but you can tell just by playing it that even if it wasn't rushed, it wouldn't have been anything more than "okay".

I think that the game was far from okay. The storyline was too dramatic and difucult to understand and the main characters were in an enviorment that was too realistic for them.

The only good thing about the game is the soundtrack.

The game was supposely half made when it came out, so you are saying that if it would be completely made it would still suck?

I think if Sonic '06 had been finished, it would have been an okay game. Still not a great game, but an okay game, and not Sonic's worst.

The plot itself guaranteed that the game would be less then okay imo. The whole enviroment that the reboot wanted to offer really didn't click with me.

For all the flak sonic 06 gets i still like silver the hedgehog...

His voice got better in generations though.

Yeah! Sonic gens is one of my favs. good music, great graphics, awesome voice actors, Outstanding Plot, AMAZING GAME!!!!!

Sonic generations is right before S&K in my favs.

I have an issue with people who don't like Big but like Silver.
Big originated in a good game and was meant to be a joke character. He did his job. People will openly say they hate him.
Silver originated in a bad game and was an overdramatic Trunks ripoff. People are okay with him/like him.

I get that people didn't like Big because he wasn't mature enough for their Sonic tastes but when they got mature Sonic games like Shadow and 06 they were met with bad reviews and 06 is even considered one of the worst games of all time. 06 is also where Silver originated so I guess they got what they wanted.

But really at the end of the day how can you honestly hate a video game character?

People didn't like Big because he really didn't fit in, regardless if he was a joke character. Sonic already has its bits of humor every here and there (although it might not actually be funny) and throwing in a joke character is unnecessary. Then you play something like, say, Marvel vs. Capcom which doesn't really have much "humor" in it and then suddenly, Roll or Phoenix Wright.

Yeah, I can see how he doesn't fit in. I have a Sonic poster in my room because I'm a nerd and aesthetically Big doesn't match up either. Hell, Eggman fits in better. But still I feel like Silver has more reasons to be "hated" than Big. I like all of the Sonic characters but I do like some a little less.
