That could be.
Though the idea of "seeing" particles always seemed weird to me.
If we can't really see elements beyond their tangible form (solid, liquid, gas) and we basically create models of atoms by guessing, I always wonder how scientists know they've actually synthesized a new element, because as far as I know, we really can't see changes in matter because particles are a concept devised by scientists as a guess of what the world is made up of in its most basic form (and if we did prove they exist, how would we see it in the first place?)
