I just had this idea now so it might have flaws...

We could have a topic in the SSBB section where you keep track of all the touneys, and the limit is 5 lets say. So if there is 5 tourneys running and somebody makes a new one, it will be locked, if there are 4 tourney running and someone makes a new one without asking for a space it will be locked, if somebody asks in the topic before making the tourney and it is accepted by the topic's MOD, then he can go forward with the tourney. If a tourney is inactive for a fortnight it is removed.

Any ideas on how to improve it?

You should have in mind that not everything can be done without coding, and no one in this forums is willing to do pHp coding.

I had a better idea, similar to this one, but cleod rejected it....

I believe that the best way to keep this clean is by creating a subsection inside the SSB section, called SSB matches, where you can start tourneys...
topics not updated in that sub-section for a whole week will get auto-deleted. That way, the section will get automatically cleaned.

What? All I'm talking about is a topic with a one in one out system?

SSB section needs subsections. I've said this many times.

I'd suggest

Super Smash Bros.
Competitive Play
Tournaments and friend codes and the like.

Discussion
Everything else.

Also, I know this is out of my control, but I'd suggest getting rid of Sora. He doesn't do anything ever... Honestly. He's my friend and all, but he really doesn't.

I think he'd do well in other places though where he actually knows his stuff.. Or at least a little bit. Console gaming perhaps?

Or, you know.

The mods in that section could do something about it.

*shoots Sora in the kneecaps*

I'll look into it.

:lock:
