What brings you here?

I lurked for a bit, then decided to join. However, didn't even know there was an RP section until I joined, considering it's hidden from guests. May I ask why?

To be honest I have absolutely no idea.

It doesn't make much sense to me either...

It's hidden from people who aren't in the RP group, unless I messed up.

It's so people who don't have an interest in it don't have to scroll past it every time.

Am I the only one who thinks that's a bit over the top?

Heck, here's a prime example of someone who much more likely have joined had he known of the Rp section. It (could) also increase numbers and activity of the section should it be visible.

But who is he? What name do I know him by?

I'm astonished, Blue. We've met before, and I use Murray for every screen name.

Alternative explanation: It was so bad last year that were it not hidden it would likely drive anybody intelligent away, not that the idiocy isn't rampant everywhere else; just especially so there.

Yeah, it's certainly dead. It's a shame, I suppose. Only a few RPs that are alive, and they don't seem to even be all that active. I applied to join the group, but it doesn't seem like there is much to be done to revive it. Especially judging by the several SOMEONEMAKEAGOODRPREVIVETHESECTION topics in General Discussion.

Yeah, there's a history of b**** followed by no action whatsoever in that section. Either somebody starts something nobody's interested in or it never gets off the ground, and frankly two going at once is a record.

I may start something soon, after I get through some writing books I picked up recently.
