To be honest though, I haven't really listened to straight shoegaze, it's always a crazy combination of grindcore or mathcore with shoegaze or something

Lush's music is more interesting to me than slowdive and the other shoegaze bands A lot of them end up doing dumb slow music that's basically proto-post-rock (hyphens), most of Lush's music actually has a pulse. |
