The dress is fine: I want to know why sleeping next to someone kills them more quickly than directly stabbing them in the chest with a big sword, or breathing fire at them, or getting a haymaker to the face from someone twice your size.

I mean if a Giant Laser from a level 100 Sea Dragon thingy will only faint a level 2 Pidgey, the opposite (Harmless things kill easier) must be true for Pokemon

it's not like people will actually get stuck in Peach's dsmash to get the 50% damage for most of the time unless you have bad SDI & DI
and I can't wait for beta Peach, gonna be amazing C:

If it's anything like v0.9b fair, it'll send people to the corner with proper DI so it'll need to be strong to actually kill anything. It might make people who DI down salty though ;P

In one of the Beta clips, I remember seeing it almost kill Bowser at like 50% because of bad DI LOL

It seems as if peach has alot of bad matchups. Are there any prevalent ones that stand out and can she capitalize on them effectively?

She really struggles against swordsmen and projectile users, or anyone with space control of the area right above the ground (think Link, Pikachu, Lloyd, Marth, MK). I think turnip optimization might be how to break those difficult ones, but I'm sure others have better ideas.

Turnips are definitely important vs swordsman, but spacing full hop and DJ Bairs is also a very good tool for neutral and for closing the space. You also need a good OoS game. You have to be able to realize when the swordsman poorly spaces an aerial or does a dash attack on your shield. Then you can punish with Nair OoS usually. Also, baiting a bad approach and then spacing a Fair is an option, but very difficult and doesn't work super often.
