Chibi-robo is not low tier at all. He's just extremely unrepresented and no one (except Cookies) is good with him

Yeah, Chibi is top 10 but can't get higher due to his skill ceiling.

Outside of 20CR, Chibi's hard to use.

While I would love to bust out a quick rant as to why Chibi cannot possibly be low tier in his current state or how Drarky got shafted yet again (I see you Lermonz), how is Chibi holding up in the metagame as it is right now? Never really got the representation he deserved back in the day, so I can only hope that got a bit better. Any new breakthroughs I would want to know about or is this still one of the more "easy" (as in lack of techskill and basis on fundamentals) characters in the game? Im curious, let me know

Forgive me but what is 20CR?

20CR - The year where Chibi-Robo becomes so s*** broken that only Bowser, Shielda and Black Mage have vaguely even MUs against him but they’re invalidated by every other character in existence. This leads to Chibi becoming the most overcentralising character in SSF2, effectively killing the meta and causing everyone to defect to Crusade.

This was the original joke, but it’s basically become the sort of movement to try and make Chibi amazing. Unfortunately, it’s not really a thing anymore.

In my opinion i think Chibi is pretty damn good, he's just very tricky both to learn and master, i mostly dropped him from main into secondary because i'm trying to keep at most only 3 mains, but with the new characters coming up.. yeah... i may bring him back since he could be a great counterpick against all or most characters

Anyways, i'm mostly waiting for 1.2 to release just so i can test Chibi's pick-up on the new characters (especially Simon, and now Waluigi), aswell as test his Brush's priorities against attacks and projectiles (Oh, and make a few fun screenshots that i hope no one has yet thought of doing yet)

in other words, 20CR is this games equivalent of 20XX/20GX.
