I have Pac and Squidloli reliably preordered
I ~think~ I have Robin & Lucy preorders too but my understanding is that the retailer has cancelled orders in the past so we'll see
I'd like to check out Charizard. Figure looks kinda neat tho

Charizard is pretty nice yeah, it might also be the biggest amiibo currently available due to it's wings too, he's about as tall as the human amiibo's (link/mart/ike etc) so he doesn't feel as 'shrunken' as Bowser, whose Amiibo I feel is a tad small.

Actually you know what? Screw getting the splatoon amiibo. They're done completely wrong.
Having amiibo as extras for your game like smash and hyrule warriors, that's fine. But when you start using them as an excuse to lock content away from the player until they pay over half the price of the game EXTRA for ALREADY IN-GAME CONTENT, that's s***. I refuse to support that.

I bet you said "it's just a weapon, it's not a big deal" or something like that because you didn't realise these things escalate
It was "just" horse armor at one point

I did know it unlocked a spinner. I generalized it as the non-zelda amiibo. Those ones give you little random extras. THOSE are fine.

it doesn't work like that though
you don't say "this part of it is fine, but this part isn't!"
they're both the same concept
locking things behind amiibos is either fine or not fine, going "but it's okay since they give you random weapons too" doesn't work

I hate how they're being handled in general. Content behind them is stupid. Smash did it perfectly because it's an extra. Nothing in the game is required to have amiibos
