Needles combo into things, so if you have a lot of them you can use needles to cover not jumping and then hit above them and it'll cover everything: if they get hit with the needles you react and fair them afterwards, if they jump you fair them.

An ability to Crawl could heavily ruin Sheik's ability to do tilts from pivots, which is something I see be very crucial in advancing her neutral/punish-game. I'm on the fence about it; crawling is niche ability that only real improves the micro-spacing of slower run-speed characters.

I see it as a niche tool that is only useful if all the opponent does is spam a projectile

That's has so little value, it's not worth losing precise neutral and spacing options. It would be like deciding to give a character Crawling over a WaveDashing. It's not a fair trade.

Sheik's low profile isn't the greatest, anyways.

Her walk is plenty good enough; there isn't anything walking around doing F-tilt can't do that crawl would somehow satisfy.

I would like to request a new Victory animation for Sheik
since we got a new Victory Screen Layout, I think you guys should make a new animation for her, so she can stay on the screen without dissapear...

(also, fix some characters victory animation on their boxes)

Well, the update is kinda old news, but this character's tab is pretty dead, so I guess I'll try to breathe some life in it.

I'm loving the new :sheik: changes. She is definitely stronger than in the previous patch and I find her more fun to play than before.

Her shorter short hop is pretty nice, definitely easier to combo something like up-throw to fair. Speaking of fair, it now feels like it has a use. Imo, before this patch it was pretty limited to edgegaurding, but now it combos into itself at low percents and can actually kill near the ledge on stage. It feels like a toned down 9b fair, which is great.

Up-smash is my favorite change. I love that they added the sweet-spot between her hands at the beginning of the move. You can combo into it (sometimes, very DI dependent though) from things like D-throw and d-tilt, and it's still strong and can kill even if you don't land the sweet-spot. A very welcome change.

I'm not sure if any of her grabs were actually changed, but Sheik is one of those characters where I use all of her throws every match. Down and Up-throw combo, F-throw can confirm into up air (and it feels like it has a lot more hitstun) and, like B-throw, can set them up for an edgegaurd. Her grab game is super rewarding.

All-in-all, :sheik: is definitely one of my fav characters to play rn. What do you all think of the changes?

Honestly, I'm ok with how boincing fish works now. Unlike the smash 4 version, SSF2's bouncing fish seems to be reserved for killing, which it does very effectively and earlier than Smash 4's variation.
