What do you do when you come across a casual/For Glory player online, and happen to be the one hosting the room?
How do you let them know that you've played better games with CPUs?

Do you turn Items on? Do you play a low tier character? Do you turn on a special smash mode?
Is there something else you intentionally do after you notice a distinct lack of skill from the other player?

Personally, I play the next match on an obnoxious stage, something you could only see casual players playing on. Fourside is my personal favorite.

So what about you guys?

I distinctively recall a few threads like that all the way back when online mode just started, and they all got shot down instantly.

Don't think it'd be appropriate to shame anyone for their level of skill in a Smash game. Or in any game, for a matter of fact. Not everyone can be a pro at a gaming title. We don't all spend our time mastering and perfecting techniques for said game, striving to become #1. There will always be bad players and I don't think it'd be nice to shame them or make 'em feel bad because of their level of skill.

Honestly, what the hell is the matter with you? Why would you want to go out of your way to make a player feel bad just for not being as good as you? THEY DON'T EVEN CARE ABOUT BEING GOOD. Think about it. What's the point of shaming someone less good than you if they don't give a s***? I'm a bit of a hypocrite for saying this, as on Bowler's server, I sometimes call people out for being bad, but it's always in response to them being rude to someone. This isn't even in response to anything. This is you being a dumb s***.

1. Change your tag to "dumbcasual"
2. Change it to a 2 minute match with all items on high and hazards on
3. Choose Hidden Village
4. Make a forum post about how bad the person is
5. Get banned, you toxic f***.

I didn't mean to offend anyone. Really, I just wanted another SSF2 related outlet for humor, like the bad ideas thread.
I suppose there's nothing I can do to try and excuse this thread, can't even think of a rename that could come off as less offensive, since the whole point is to let the other player know that they suck. I guess I could rename it "Casual player interactions" but that just sounds lame. So I'm gonna lock this thread.
