There hasn't been an SMT game released without some kind of remake or sequel since Strange Journey, which was six years ago.

I see you have a hatred for numbered game titles that has sequels to it. Atlus has been treating there IPs like a mule lately especially P4 since that game came out on ps2 and now its been with its spinoff on 3ds, arcade, psvita, and ps3. A spinoff of a spinoff I glad to see SMT 4 final than Genei Ibun Roku FE(Persona 6 featuring: Fire Emblem Characters from Shadow Dragon and Awakening) getting really tired of Persona over shadowing the main series. This is their second time doing it to the main series. I rather have this than a long hiatus and "not enough fans" excuse. Yes, Atlus has been milking their IPs but not SMT to the point it gets old. Its only been 2 years since 4 came out. Its fine if they have 1 of each in the series and not have alot of spinoff genre for one game.
