well

let's get more talkative about falco

Is Falco's bair as strong as fox's tho ;-;

I asked this because I saw Starkiller land bair and it didn't kill till like 42069%

Did Starkiller hit people with the weaker hitbox or is bair not as strong? Or did everyone just DI amazingly?

Find out next post episode of Smash Flash Forums Z!

idk what the actual values were, and considering how easily falco racks up damage we thought they were fine. Falco's really good, so the last thing he needs are buffs, but we boosted the kill power on bair a little. Falco's bair in Melee is strong, but I think people overestimate how strong it is. With the proper angle of survival, if you get hit in the middle of the stage you might live till like 150 anyways.

Plus every two frames or something the damage goes down and so does the kb

What does being african have to do with Falco play? Aren't the two best Falco players white? Unless were talking about False in Smash 4.

I guess so. I remember someone making 4 multishines as Falco on the smash con stream.

I was wondering for a while, how is dair's properties different from Melee's?

I know for sure it's not a spike no more, but are there any hitbox differences?

SSF2 dair has a meteor hitbox for a few frames, then it becomes a horizontal hit. The hitboxing is very similar to Melee's I think

So Brawl frames.

I do like Falco and how some of his moves are different from Fox's, who has his Brawl moveset.

I do wish he had a combination of Melee and Brawl reflector. Melee's reflector is better for combo'ing, but Brawl's reflector did look like something Falco would do with it.

I do wish he had animations closer to smash 4, such as his up smash that hits twice and phantasm where he has his arms spread out.

Though I hope these are added in the future.

I do like how Fire Bird is blue, which is I do think is neat. Sad that the distance traveled looks like its Brawl's instead of Melee's or smash 4's.

I am glad he has his Brawl clips because I think that was his best voice and I wouldn't mind his smash 4 clips. I think his Melee voice isn't that good because he sounds to old for me. I only like his Star KO voice clip because it sounds like he is being punched in the gut.

I agree about most Brawl stuff, but Melee shine > Brawl shine. Period.

I guess, but Brawl reflector was just more Falco. Like I said, I would like if they were able to combine both.

Brawl nair I think was better for extending combos, but Melee nair was better for approaching.

Brawl's up tilt I think could have been a better anti air and could hit from both sides. Melee up tilt looks fine.

Also if fire bird is going to be that short, I wouldn't mind if phantasm doesn't put Falco into helpless.

Maybe they would make it so you can use the "Reflector kick" when you press the attack button while holding the shine. It could be an interesting mechanic.

what's the point of having brawl shine when melee shine does reflecting fine but has combo potential

Brawl shine had forced tripping proprieties. Maybe if the endlag of this move were reduced, it could lead into tech chasing situations.
