If Silph Co's speed is slowed it would be 10x harder for characters without 5 jumps or float to make it to the next area. Because they'd have to spend more time in the air. Making characters like Captain Falcon unplayable on that stage.


Oh. Well, maybe they could do what Isle Delfino in Brawl did and have a platform to stand on when it moves. Still...I've been playing it again and it isn't as bad as I thought. Neither is that Zelda stage (Skyward Voyage). I guess they just caught me off guard lol.

Multi-hit moves can easily be DI'd out of. There's a reason characters relying on them have always done poorly.

Yes that was what is happening as well. Its really easy for me just to side c and b to get their % up before i actually try.


Well, because the events are 1 through 10, I don't think they should be a challenge to begin with. (In fact, I think they should be easier, especially Event 10 and the Yoshi one, as they are extremely cheap.) If the events start off too challenging, how would anyone beat the rest of them if the difficulty is set too high.


I just think that level 9 cpu is too easy.

For the event missions i just played cheap leading the AI to death (10th event) with kirbys ledge grab but others i spammed around and stuff, not all were cheap some were a challenge as for level 9 cpu kirby/jiggly puff are the hardest only because they are floaters even so they walk into your attacks and still sometimes fail. but these need a fix.

I think Megaman needs a new FS. It should be a like a large moving vortex that slowly sweeps off the screen, causing anywhere from 0 to 100% damage. The only downside of it should be that the opponents see it coming only 3 secs away from it actually happening.

-fix the Rainbow colored skin on some recolors, for example one of Ness's recolors looks like beast boy

- maybe a fast zoom out effect in the results screen, similar to Brawl?
- In maybe in training mode an extra slot in the character select screen for sandbag? not playable obviously but for the cpu.

1 - add in STAMINA MODE, please. it is a classic, and not just that - remember that MOST fighting games rely on a stamina bar. this single feature could make a connection between smash lovers and other players who prefer stamina-based games, like Street Fighter. this one little feature could drastically expand the number of players, as well as being a common feature in SSBB tournaments, much akin to how popular is Turbo mode in SSBB Project M tournaments.

2 - fix tails. his down-air feels so weird now.
3 - make jiggs better! she was OP last demo, but now she is probably the worst character.
4 - Marth's down sidespecial finish is plain useless, as opposed to its awesomeness in brawl or melee.
5 - Marth's Block is... weird, at best. it seems much more powerfull (enough to be considered a kill move) but the timing is VERY delayed. this is almost the polar opposite from in brawl and melee, where his block would be almost instantaneous, and deal similar damage, but nowhere near that knockback.
6 - unlock all items, and make the sand bag available in every mode, just like in brawl.
7 - add unlockable characters. some of them would be simply amazing, such as:
-Metal Gear Solid: Solid Snake (just like in Brawl); Naked Snake (more focused on melee attacks and tranquilizer darts, like he is in MGS3; would be a totally new character); or Raiden (the MGS4 or MGR version, thank you - dont use the effeminate, nearly gay version from MGS2. he could probably have a similar combat style from Marth, but faster, more agile, and no tipper bonuses or sweetspots, with reduced power. (basically a mix between Meta Knight, Marth and Captain Falcon.)
- Mario Franchise: we need BOWSER. period. other important characters would be of course Luigi, and maybe Hammer Bros. Baby Bowser would also be fun. Waluigi could be intheresting, i absolutely HATE the character but heck, it would be pretty trollish to use, probably.
- Castlevania: Belmont FTW.
- Pokemon: we aremissing two types of pokémon: bith the big ones, and the evil ones. characters like Lucario, or Charizard, or Zoroark, or maybe Blaziken, could very well be an option. as for evil ones, then we would of course have Mewtwo, or even MewThree; Zoroark could also fir in this category.

Stages could have more variable hazards. destructible parts of a stage would also be awesome.

Please don't make character suggestions. The planned roster has been set in stone since at least 2010. (And read the damn OP.)

It's not just character suggestions, really. It's content (in casu items, new and returning stages, new and veteran characters, new and returning modes, assist trophies, pokéballs etc.) suggestions in general. We're willing to go over suggestions for additions/fixes on excisting content and/or upgrades on the former if we notice enough demand for a particular adjustement, but with content suggestions there is simly too much to take into. We can't listen to them anymore. Many things have been decided on already as well.

Feel free to use the Speculation topic for such outlets though, if you want to let the world know why you think something will be or should be included.

I firmly believe thee are a bunch of problems wit this game, but it was the potential to be one of the best flash games availible.
One of these problems is the priority system, which currently favors characters with better reach. I elaborate on that here.

- Change up Mega Man's moveset a bit.
- Give Guardian back to Lloyd.
- If Luigi is ever added give Mario back FLUDD but keep his 64/Melee down air. FLUDD was actually semi useful in Brawl but could've been given more knock back.
- Give Bomberman's Bomb Kick more knock back forward/at an angle.
- Give Bomberman Bomb Bounce as a tactical strategy.
- Shorten the distance of Sora's Flow Motion.
- Give Marth's Counter a small buff.
- Nerf Black Mage's stop.
- Give Bomberman more bombs. Similar to how Peach has multiple turnips. (For example use Bomberman The Second Attack elemental bombs. Or even give him the red bombs from 64, but of course make them really rare.)

A few from me:

-After the situation with Lloyd, maybe you guys can have a small group of people that has experience in multiple games to test out the character's moveset and give suggestions? IIRC there were testers and probably still are. They won't necessarily be devs, but they'll test out the demos and give feedback based on their knowledge. Maybe even have a requirement to make an application.
-I honestly don't think that Mega Man's Moveset is bad. Hell, it's more canon and fits better than his SSB4 moveset, but maybe there can a be few touchups and changes here and there. The side special doesn't really make sense, imo. I don't recall Mega Man ever using Proto Man's shield. I see what you guys were going for though, trying not to use some random weapon, but that move doesn't really fit. Instead, give him one of his shield weapons. Leaf shield is the more ionic, but there's others as well, so if you guys don't want to completely copy smash, you can use one of the more obscure ones. The only aerial that I have problems with is his down aerial. It isn't as useful as it used to be and just functions weird, but that may be in the process of fixing. I don't want to go in depth on this since everything is subject to change, but maybe a few ideas will pop up in you guys' heads.
-Suli did an idle animation for Marth facing forward that looked hella good. Why arent you guys using that one? No offense, but the current one looks terrible. The fact that the wrinkles in the cape at the top doesn't move is strange, and looks so pixel shifty. It doesn't really blend in well with the rest of the cast as well considering his back is turned. That may be fixed soon, but I thought that I should put it out there.


That's all for me so far. Don't really have any other suggestions that were probably already mentioned. Keep up the good work!

So you would like to have an move that's even worse then his current Dsp? A move in which I may say had no real point considering it can't deflect things and has a s*** ton of end lag?
