I'm probably not going to get a 3DS til early next year because it's too expensive for a handheld, it has weak battery life, no good games for, and just don't like the design for it. Besides I always wanted a DSi so I'm going to get that instead. I'm always behind in handhelds like when I had a GBA, GBA SP in 2005 when DS was active!

But... you want a DSi? i have it and it's not too different to the ds, a 3ds works like a dsi, and besides it works with ds games ( except with flashcards ) so what it's the point of buying a dsi when you have available the 3ds? There is absolutely no reason to get a DSi over a 3DS.
If you're saving up anyway you can wait a little longer and get a hell of a lot more out of it. |

Tid Of course I know the 3DS is waaaaaayyyyyy better, but there are no BIG titles yet, besides it's natural for me to be behind in next portable generation.

No. Just don't do it! This is an example of poor decision making. Your gonna waste 170 dollars on a dying system, when you could wait and get a system that does literally EVERYTHING a DSi does and so much more. And there will be, by this year, LOADS of amazing games for the 3DS too. Not to mention if your not interested in the games out so far, you can get a hold of almost ALL of Nintendo's portable backlog (DS, Gameboy, Gameboy Color, and possibly GBA, with even more support from Sega also).
