Does anyone know any websites where Programmers could be found/asked to help with things.

I don't know if such a place exists but if it did that would be pretty cool.

I found a few but those were the ones with people asking for money on the spot.

You're not going to find strangers willing to work with you for a promise of "a cut of the profits" if that's what you're looking for. People who actually know what they're doing will never do that.

Well i'm not exactly trying to make profits off of that Creepypasta game.

But yeah free isn't exactly something I should be able to expect either.

Game Maker Community has a whole forum dedicated to everything Game Maker and even those who are professionally experienced with it. Have you checked the team requests section? There should be at least something in there that you're looking for.
