It's funny because you're doing it on purpose now.

Let's.. try to keep this topic alive.
Dante's attacks sorta bother me. I tried his M down to backwards attack, whatever it is where he uses Cerberus to flip a few times then attack. It works, but when I try to follow it up with Crazy Dance or whatever that is, it doesn't always seem to work.

They purposely made Dante really, really finicky to make up for his INSANE movelist. If anything that's how he's supposed to feel.

Well, I'm somewhat noticing that, but with his other attack where he takes his guns out and starts.. doing some weird arm motions while shooting forwards which is the same exact combination as above only I use the heavy attack instead of the special/launcher/whatever, it works. Just about every time.

Wait, why are you here then? I'm pretty sure SSB is a party fighter. I think you should think about where you are posting things, before you do it without thinking. The timing for Crazy Dance is really awful (it's not mashed), it's not useful, as you can't really follow it up unless you XFC. All of Dante's useful combos are going to stem from or into a combination Helm Breaker, then his OTG and so on. EDIT: The way to make Cerberus mostly useful (which it isn't a very good, nor safe move to begin with) is to follow it up with, H, S (Right after) Mash H (Wait a second), Mash A, Superjump, QCF+F, then follow it up with whatever OTG moves you want (If you use Volcano into Million Dollars you easly dish out a 500,000 BNB) This also can't be done in the corner.

He said nothing about SSB. And that makes sense now. It's quite ridiculous timing if it's -that- hard to pull.

Yea but he said SSFIV:AE. Super Street Fighter IV(4) : Arcade Edition It wasn't SSB and you shouldn't bring SSF2 into any console/pc related discussion. We have an entire sub-forum dedicated to that But back to the point: The fact how some people claim UMVC3 isn't a real fighter because of its simplified controls is just stupid. Look at Soul Calibur. If anything, its a 8 way run fighter with 4 controls (compared to Tekken with the usual fighting controls): (ps3/360) X/A to block, []/X for Horizontal attacks, Triangle/Y for vertical attacks, and O/B for kicks. Dear god, look at Bloody roar. 3 buttons yet its still considered a real fighter to this day. UMVC3 is not any different. The controls is not what matters but it is the player and skill that does So to every crying fanboy saying how UMVC3 isn't a real fighter due to its controls (which AGAIN hasn't made a huge impact at ALL): your presence on this topic is not welcome. Go say that somewhere else Anyways, a question and an obvious fact just to keep things alive 1. In MVC1, Ryu has 3 forms. One represents his normal self, another in a yellow-goldish outfit (plays exactly like Ken), and Evil Ryu (plays exactly like Evil Ryu/Akuma). 2. Any tips for Rocket Raccoon?

You're all misunderstanding what that fine gentleman is saying. He's saying SSB is a party fighter, and if the moron over there only likes "real" fighters he shouldn't have any interest in SSB series because it's about as close to a real fighter as a fire fighter is to being a doctor. Sure, the fire fighter knows CPR and s***, but he can't actually treat someone for illness.

It's not misunderstanding at all, it was the fact those two things had nothing to do with each other. I was asking where, exactly, SSB was even mentioned in that post. He mentioned Street Fighter 4 and then DarkSonOfSparda said something about SSB. SSB had nothing to do with it, as "it's about as close to" Street Fighter "as a fire fighter is to being a doctor." Sure, Mario's moveset is based off of Ryu and s***, but he doesn't actually play just like Ryu.

..Nevermind. Anyway, the only real usage I find for Crazy Dance is if the opponent is against a wall and you can get lucky enough to get the timing.
