I would cut all of the clone characters that no one cares about and add good original NES characters like birdo, mach rider, urban champion, balloon fighter, mike tyson from mike tysons punch out, and clu clu land.

it is honestly a disgrace that it took until brawl for characters like wario and meta knight and king dedede to get into smash

meta knight and king dedede are simply too morally complex for nintendo. they are not simply kirby's friends or foes... they are somewhere in the middle

I wouldn't change anything about melee just cus I feel like it's be unfair to replace the clones with non clones but Wario, Dedede and K. Rool not being there always felt weird to me

Eh, OoT was like the hottest s*** ever and without Zelda/Sheik the only female characters would be Peach and Samus (and Jigglypuff maybe have they ever actually said anything one way or the other there)

The biggest issue with Smash is that the number of Zelda characters added goes 1, 4, 1, 0, 0 lol
