Hideaki anno's true magnum opus

In all seriousness, it's a really f*** good film
(It has some nice NGE references, too! The 'decisive battle' theme is played like 5 times)
If you've never watched a Japanese Godzilla film then give this a shot, never really thought they could make me feel in a movie about a city being destroyed

The English is probably the worst part of the film, 2.22 has better Engrish

i've seen a bunch of Godzilla movies, and it's without a doubt the best one. this should be coming out on blu-ray in a couple months here, definitely DEFINITELY gives this one a go if you like japanese media at all.

NGE references are kinda predictable though

I liked the part where Godzilla kinda posed against the fire like the giants from Nausicaa.
