Doesn't NEED it, but it would be f***' cool

That is, if they don't even think about DLC now and make the game as full as it can be made

Then, after it's released, they can begin work on expanding the roster

If they did that (rather than just holding characters back as DLC or something), that would be cool as hell.

I'd encourage them to NOT go with DLC, because if they add characters and stages or things like that after the game is out then really what would be the point of making another smash after this one?

If they added characters and stages to Brawl, would you still want Smash 4?

The way I see it, they can just take an extra year or so and add in however many characters & stages they can make in that time. Then they could leave it alone until the next version. It's a nice balance. I'm sure if he could Sakurai would create a roster with 500 characters, each perfectly balanced. This would just give him some extra time to beef up the roster, without having to worry about everyone waiting anxiously to play the game.

Yeah Xtreme the mechanics, engine and being playable on a new console is what has been going on since the first game.
