I'm busy compiling every replay of my Sora for an "evidence.zip" style thing. Unfortunately, I lose track of a lot of replays I win and lose, so I needed that as solid reference. The other games are coming.

I know in retrospect I went OTT, but usually, I've been harshly criticized and told how bad I am. When I saw that, I got quite happy, but I apologize Suli. The title will change, and I'm just looking at all my replays, noting stage and opponent.

The title of this will change, and once again I am sorry for how poorly handled this was.

File comment: There we are. Unlike Leffen's these aren't full of text documents but of replays. I may add to these later on, but these are the most recent of my Sora plays. There are some wins and some losses. I haven't stated which are wins and losses.

I'm saving recent ones in which I perform decently, and/or win.

Hey dude, these should probably be in the Sora section shouldn't they? Since you aren't submitting a replay for a player on this list. Although maybe that DK vs Ichigo match shouldn't be in the Sora.zip file haha.

I watched about half of those replays. If those are a measure of yours and wooly's skills (the only match that had him in it that I watched was the Sora ditto), my opinion is that neither of you should actually be on this list. You (and CSwooly in that one match) do some good things but fall victim to a lot of bad habits that I can see (and I don't even think I'm that good, so even better players than me would be able to see your patterns). I can also see that most of these opponents are not very good, so against better players it would be a better way to measure your skills accurately.

However, if you cannot utterly dominate players with bad tendencies and punish consistently then I think you need to spend more time playing and with your character. Enter tournaments as your schedule allows, hit the lab and discuss Sora strategy with other mains. I know there isn't much to go on for Sora, after all there are very few Sora mains and I haven't heard of any outstanding ones other than Eldog (and according to some players he shouldn't be on here). Think of it as the chance to pioneer a character (much like Jellybean did and then Remprower with Tails).

EDIT: going to watch CSwoolly's evidence.zip

EDIT2: After watching most of the videos (I watched the one vs Skailler, and the 3 vs Kyoz), I can say that Wooly is not bad, but not yet as good an example as he should set for Sora mains. I suggest being less trigger-happy on fsmash, incorporating slightly more grabs into your game (Sora's grab range is garbage an throw followups mediocre I don't blame you, plus flowmotion can beat shield), more SH aerials as well as dtilt (I think that Sora's dtilt is godlike) and to stop doing as many punishable s-specs into the stage as high as you are doing them. On BF it works because of land cancel on platz when angled down, but Kyoz was totally aware and was quite capable of punishing the s-specs as you threw them out offstage.

I actually had a little chuckle that it got in.

I hope you aren't discouraged, I really want to see players become good and underused characters become powerful :wee: (but only for good reasons, if you win a tournament with an easy infinite that you discover I will be impressed about the discovery but not with the win :P)

Ok. I've tried to do F-Smash less, however I tend to press C-Stick to do B-Air -> Fair and I end up F-Smashing. This has been pointed out to me before, but thank you for the tips.

As for the tournament tip, I can't actually get into many because of timezone issues. In fact, I haven't got into any so far because of this.

I know what you mean, I know the c-stick struggles (especially when trying to do instant SH uair).

That is unfortunate about the tournaments.

I know right.

Best I can do is more replays. I think I did better on the Suli ones.
