The outlook seemed bleak. The war had been raging for years, and both sides had taken substantial casualties, but there was no ending in sight. It had been a war of values, of morals, of beliefs, but now, none of that mattered. They were all about to die anyway. For years, a band of tyrants had controlled every prospect of the country, from private lives to income distribution. Everyone had had enough, but nobody had been brave enough to organize a mutiny. No one, that is, except a small group of warriors, who formed a small resistance to withstand the forces of their enemy. Needless to say, they were the underdogs. However, they started off strong, the element of surprise on their side. They effortlessly took a prominent enemy base in one swift invasion. After that, more people had started joining, the victory inflaming their confidence. Before they knew it, they had the support of the entire community… except the High Council. They were the aristocratic dictators responsible for the living conditions of the citizens of Threhlg. It was truly sickening. In the beginning, the rebels seemed to be winning, but the tides quickly began to turn as they were overwhelmed by the sheer numbers of the Council’s army. That’s how it had all happened, and now, things were more desperate than ever. The rebel leader, a veteran of war by the name of Karahan, was at a loss as to the resistance’s next move. However, a young and relatively inexperienced fighter named Wontin knew exactly what to do. There was just one problem… the rebel leaders would never go for it. He planned to secretly recruit a team of specialists to help end this war. Five skilled warriors would be able to end this war without so much as the guidance of the rebellion. Wontin knew what he had to do, even if it meant expulsion from the resistance. He quickly sent messages to all the fighters in the universe to call for aid.

Unbeknownst to Wontin or any of the other insurgents, the High Council was beginning to wear out as well. There was one significant difference between the two groups: The High Council would not hesitate in the slightest at the chance to recruit more warriors. They quickly devised a plan, sending a broadcast out to every receiver within reach of the signal. The broadcast was a plea for help, only much more dignified, offering a high reward for the services of any seasoned fighters. So assured in their victory, they overconfidently decided to allow only five to apply, if only to save on funds.
