... You know the computer is still a rather new technology, and that people who didn't grow up getting to know it generally have a hard time understanding it? Now add onto that the internet, which has only been around (commercially) since the mid 90's. Trying to teach previous generations about the internet isn't going to work in most cases. Imagine you're 60, and someone invents a Virtual Reality simulator. Oh sure, you might be eager to try it, and you might even get to know some of the basic things it requires. But you'll never master it like your grandchildren will. It's really just that simple.

My dad is 70, he can build AND use a computer, Mum is 52 or something and is clueless about the subject.
