I can live with Little Mac and Mii, but jesus christ please not Pac Man ugh

I guess the Mii is to add to the customization, but I don't see what moves it would have.
I can definitely live with Little Mac, and Pac Man I can live with but not really like... I just kind of feel it.

I'm pretty sure those aren't both Smashville. I don't play Animal Crossing so don't quote me on this but the backgrounds are very different.

It's probably going to be like the Mushroomy Kingdom in Brawl where you had a 50-50 chance of getting an overworld or underground variant of the same stage. Just a thought...

Maybe the first one is for the 3DS version and the second for the Wii U version

IMO He would be a pretty good fighter and has everything for being a good character (He even appeared in Brawl as a AT).

A solid base of movements, an awesome game (Somewhat famous), everything.

Oh, and the FS would be a Summon like Judgement, it would be awesome.

What's right with Pac-Man?

If you want an actual answer, Pac-Man doesn't represent Nintendo's history at all. Hell, the Atari 2600 version of Pac-Man was one of the things that led to the crash that Nintendo had to save the video game industry from.

Sonic works as a third-party character because he represents the former rivalry of SEGA and Nintendo. Mega Man works as a third-party character because a lot of his games have been Nintendo-exclusive and he's arguably just as much a representative of the NES era as the other characters from then in Smash Bros. are. Snake's just in because Kojima had been asking since Melee.

I believe the most important part of Smash Bros. is celebrating Nintendo, past and present. Pac-Man isn't really a part of Nintendo's past or Nintendo's present. I don't want him in the game because, simply put, he doesn't deserve to be in the game.

Btw, i agree with Kyuubit. I think he's just of popular demand among several Smash Brothers fans but he really didn't have that strong of a history with Nintendo as much as Mega Man does.

Even though i'm a huge Pac-Man fanatic, i think there are way better roster choices.

Don't quote me on this (I don't play many Pac-Man games) but I think even if he did have moves beyond chomp, CHOMP, and CHOMPCHOMP, it would come out to be similar to Mario. Like, obviously he won't be a carbon copy, but it'll be pretty much just cartoony/basic punches and kicks with like, 2-3 moves that are actually from Pac-Man.
