I noticed that some players aren't aware of OoS, so I'm just gonna post each character's OoS options here. Sorry for the sloppyness. If you could demonstrate OoS better, that'd be cool.

Interesting. I almost never do OoS options because I like to keep my distance from players. Guess it is time to start learning again

I almost never do OoS options because they don't work efficiently offline. Shield are very easy to mix-up and cross-up in this game, making OoS options easy to bait out and punish. Which is good. Wouldn't want shields to be too good here. I mostly try to rely on good spacing and footwork, like in Smash 64. Better to not be in the way of an attack, than to attempt blocking it.

OoS is great depending on matchups. In the case of Wario vs Marth, Marth can lure Wario in by holding his Shield down. Since this is Wario's only encouragement to move in on Marth and Chomp, Marth can retaliate with an OoS Dolphin Slash, etc.

While OoS may not be necessary, it is useful sometimes. And sometimes, it's the best thing to do in certain situations.

OoS Shine is beastly from my experience. My only problem with it is executing it consistently. :~:

I actually use a lot of OoS online, although I need to learn how to more consistantly short hop out of shield lol

Online would be a pain to do. I have no problem executing it on controller (no tap). I actually find it easier on controller lol, I never had a problem with the jump->shine timing, I often pressed down too soon and spotdodged instead.

I've done some more testing with OoS options. The quickest OoS options seem to be:

OoS Haste
OoS Screw Attack
OoS Shine
OoS Inhale
OoS Spin Attack
OoS UpB (Ichigo)
OoS DownB (Ichigo)

Since MK's grab comes out in frame 3, I think it's the fastest oos option in the game.

Haste is like frame 4 while inhale and ichigo up b are 6 or 7. These moves might be useful OOS against fading aerials and stuff because of their disjoints but they're def not the fastest options. Many aerials will come out faster.
