Ok i think tales of symphonia if this is a upcoming thing or not is setting up for another sequel so far TOS is the best in their line up

Honestly, I hope it would be just a remake, if anything. The unison attack feature was probably the best idea ever.

If not, at least a character (lol, unlikely) for Namco in SSF4, or a cameo in some other game.

The Unsion feature was in TOI but a lot more better.
But on topic the TOS OVA seems like it will be reaching it's end soon considering from what I heard from the TO forum.

Character polls =/= Game popularity. You could play Tales of Abyss but like Lloyd, even though you never played ToS.
ToI didn't have it. It was completely different, and it was just a way to attack the enemy while it is not able to retaliate. I see what you mean, but it doesn't have any of the special combo attacks and such.
Anyway, it is. It's the last season, and there are 3 more episodes to go.

I sense fanservice in the opening. And not bad fanservice either. I've been dying for an actual Zelos vs. Kratos. Deadly disease cured, whoo.
So, basically, since I'm not in an anime-ish mood at the moment, I'd assume that this anime is more of explaining the backstory of characters than actually showing the plot that you can already see by playing the game? Another good example of good fanservice.
Going back to Mithos/Martel/Kratos/Yuan also looked great. Very satisfying.
And going with Apple Engi, so much goddamn nostalgia. And yes, the opening is just yes. ;w;

The opening is more or less recalling a bunch of key moments in the game that pull at your heartstrings.

Oh, really? I only noticed a few references such as Kratos being Lloyd's father, Mithos's bond with his sister (Although this one was somewhat obvious the entire time), and probably my favorite one, Zelos and his mother dying. "You should have never been born." Everything else seems new.
