Thanks for coming down guys. We'll be extending the 7:30 pre-show to next week as well, since it seemed successful this time.

Speaking of next week:

This week's album:
Mezzanine
Massive Attack
Image
Trip-hop/Electronica/Downtempo/Alt rock/Experimental rock

Mezzanine is the third studio album by English trip hop group Massive Attack, released on 20
April 1998 by Virgin Records. It was the first album to be produced by Neil Davidge, along with
the group. The entire album was provided on their website for legal download many months
before the physical release was announced, one of the first major uses of the MP3 format by a
commercial organization.
The album was meant to be released in December 1997, but was delayed by four months, with
vocalist Robert Del Naja spending most of the time in the studio "making tracks, tearing them
apart, f***ing [sic] them up, panicking, then starting again."
The album, the band's most commercially successful to date, reached the number one spot in
the UK, Australian, Irish and New Zealand album charts.

8PM Friday // Pre-show at 7:30

On the topic of albums we'd like to see done in the future, here are a few well known ones I enjoy:

Black Sabbath - Paranoid
The Devin Townsend Project - Ki (Blow me)
DJ Shadow - Endtroducing
Jeff Buckley - Grace
Kanye West - My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy
Michael Jackson - Thriller
Rush - Moving Pictures
Sufjan Stevens - Illinois

I'm also seconding Remain in Light and Innervisions because I'm interested in those

blood mountain is pretty good too

i also suggest Storm Of The Light's Bane by Dissection because we need a black metal album
