Name:Blitz Leucetius Orbain
Age: 14
Year: 1st

Appearance: Blitz has upright and spiky silver hair with a single golden streak that isn't quite centered. He can often be seen with an undone black leather jacket, ripped grey jeans with zippers on the knees and blue sunglasses on his head. Along the arms of his jacket are silver lightning bolts and on the top left of his chest is a smaller one encompassed by a yellow ring. His shoes are grey and black running shoes with metal bottoms to create sparks and to prevent damage to the soles when running at high speeds. He could also use them for offensive purposes, but he rarely ever sinks that low.
Whenever he's not outside or he's just chilling at home (or in this case, his dorm), he can be seen wearing a tight grey T-shirt with complicated graffiti on it that (of course) involves distorted lightning bolts. He can also be seen with black headphones around his kneck that are silver around the circular speakers and loose silver armcuffs with a neon yellow lightning bolt on the left cuff. His pants are the same type as his Jacket garb (but obviously not the same pair, that would be gross), only they are accompanied by a chain on the left side.
Covering his back and chest are numerous scars from his training with his older brother that surprisingly enough aren't shaped like lightning bolts, but are deep cuts and wide, harsh scrapes.
His left hand is almost always in his pocket.

Personality: Due to a harsh life with his brother that he doesn't like to talk about often, he doesn't really trust others but isn't exactly hateful, either. For example, if someone offers him a coke, he'll question their motives if he doesn't know them, and will just walk away with his hands in his pockets if he decides it's not worth taking the risk of trusting a stranger.
He's very relaxed and always looks tired, but will spring to life if the time calls for it (gym, artes training, sparring, standing up for friends, etc). He doesn't really care about others who aren't close to him, but will lend a helping hand if they desperately need it. Most of his friends are made when he is forced to get to know someone, and he locks himself out from the outside world otherwise, making it difficult for the average outgoing student to make friends with him. However, those who can become his friends see the other side of him; friendly, kind, peaceful, and fun. For example, if the school is holding an annual ball, he won't go. But if his friend is starting a party, he won't refuse, and will make the most of the party at that. He respects others and understands the rights of each individual, and won't stand to see even a stranger get bullied and will step in and stand up for them, even if that means breaking the rules and starting a brawl.

Biography: Blitz was raised and homeschooled by his 20-year-old older brother who graduated from the Academy at 16. His brother was top of his class and was a straight-A student in every class that he took. Blitz is a natural learner, and will listen respectfully to his leaders, meaning that he effectively has a better education then those who actually attended Elementary, when you consider that he was also taught a bit of the Academy's teachings earlier on. His brother also taught him a few self-taught techniques of his own that Blitz wouldn't be able to learn from the Academy, such as creating and controlling static electricity through friction. However, Blitz lacks a few of the basic things, such as a few of the more complicated language arts, and has a hard time with algebra. His brother has decided to drop Blitz off at the academy supposedly because he has been taught everything that his brother knows, and now he wishes for him to have a better education.
The focus of his study in the Academy is mainly to learn more lightning techniques and to train on his ability for better control, accuracy and strength, but he is still learning the basic studies taught at most highschools (math, science, history, geography, etc). His brother recommends that he not be paired with an Artes Angelorum so that he may better learn how to create his own lighting through friction and sparks.

Arte: Blitz is an Artes Naturae that can control lightning. Although this is very rare, his family has taken a vow to only mate with other purebreed Lightning Disciples as to keep the discipline in its most powerful state, and as a result, he is very adept and fine-tuned in the usage of said discipline.

Limits:

Skills: Very naturally in tune with the controlling of lightning and can learn quicker then other disciples of his kind, has excellent running capabilities due to harsh training with brother and can create static electricity and sparks with metal shoes and high speeds.

Not going to be able to respond to that until the end of the day, but at first glance I'm going to tell you that Artes Naturae lightning disciples can ONLY manipulate lightning from the sky. No loopholes, no static electricity, etc. That's why they're rare.

Oh well, after some research I think I have enough to make a different character that's a bit more canon.

Name: Alastor Bacchus Zosimus
Age: 15
Year: 3rd year, but in the same class as the first years (failed twice)
Appearance: Alastor is well-built but not too muscular for a kid his age. He's around 5 feet eleven inches and is always giving a mischieviously smug smile. His sharp but smooth features and silver eyes certainly make him attractive to some and his pure white hair helps in some cases, but he's mainly too busy plotting or chatting it up with friends to really give a damn.
When out of class (which happens alot), Alastor is dressed in a dark grey sleeveless T-shirt complimented by an unzipped black leather jacket with white trims. His jeans are ripped and are a dark grey, fastened with a black leather belt with various iron stubs on the outside. Connected to the belt is a loose iron chain loop connecting through a belt loop in his jeans. His shoes are large black runners with white soles and sharp silver designs around the laces. His hands are covered with black and white fingerless gloves with rectangular holes on the top of the hand. When around the house and with friends, he can be seen without his iconic jacket.
In school, he feels the need to follow the dresscode, but only enough to keep him in class. His blazer is always unbuttoned to show his grey T-shirt and his tie is always resting on the back of his neck untied. Although his superiors always used lecture him on following the dresscode to a T, they eventually gave up since they managed to catch on that it was a lost cause to try and get him to change his stubborn mind.
Whenever Alastor uses his artes, his "wings" have a distinct red tint to them, leading some to falsely mistake him for a rogue Angelorum. Occassionally, he can be seen with a scabbard on his back with an antique Katana he made himself.

Personality: Alastor isn't quite like most Angelorum. Although the defining traits are certainly there, some are more lightly attributed and his mischievious and rebellious attitude lead some to believe him to be a rogue Angelorum, as stated beforehand. But his negative traits are actually a result of his father being very strict. He is first and foremost a mischievious pranker and sees Harold Kubalseigh as his unsung rival, but is also very passionate in battle and shows a great interest in weapons. He's realtively laid back while planning long-term or when he's basking in the success of a recent prank, and doesn't take school outside of the club very seriously. When he doesn't like someone or has a grudge, though, he sticks by that grudge and makes sure that they get what's coming to them in the most imaginative ways he can think of. However, because of his instincts as an Angelorium, he always feels the need to help others and will stand up for the little guy regardless of the consequences, but he'll never admit that this streak of kindness exists in him and when he helps someone he particularly doesn't like he'll make sure he does in the most vaguely humiliating way possible. For example, August Król (someone who he sees as especially douchey) is wedgied to the Academy flagpole, so Alastor flies up and rips him off of the pole, dividing his pants in two segments and showing the world his striped boxers.
Alastor is a smart boy, but he never shows it because he purposely answers questions in a sarcastic manner. For example, on most surveys, there is a question asking what sex he is. His reply is always "yes please ". This is all because he is also lazy, and likes the first year class because it's not as hard as the higher ones. Regardless, if a good friend (which he has yet to find) is graduating he will try his hardest to graduate with them. As such, the staff is always trying to force friends on him, driving him to purposely act like a douche to all of them in creative ways as his way of rebelling against the teachers. At night, he loves to go outside of the campus and explore the city on the rooftops, and a small hobby of his is thinking of multiple ways to break into the club's weapons bay and take a look at all the shiny and well-crafted weapons. However, despite all of his rebellion, he remains loyal to the Academy and will defend it with unshakeable will if he has to, to the point where he wouldn't dare to carry out his plan to get into the weapon's bay. He shows the same loyalty for his friends as well, and even his enemies get some respect from him and his pranks against them aren't ever life-threatening. In his opinion, if it isn't a demon, it's an ally, and the only human he's grown to hate is his father. His hate for his father is almost as strong as his hate for demons, however, and any time he senses an evil presence he will always step in to slowly and painfully dispatch the demon with unbridled rage, his hate for his father as fuel. While he is normally very relaxed and is somewhat of a c-cky smartass while fighting spirits, humans, and the undead, he is uncontrollably brutal while fighting demons, most likely due to his nature of being an Angelorum and possibly also because his fatherly influence.
While fighting anything besides demons, however, he is very c-cky yet isn't sloppy either, starting off by toying with the enemy and slowly increasing in strength to lure his opponent into a false sense of security. This manner of attack, which he calls "reaping", his summoned scythe and his dark attire have all gained him the nickname of "Grim Reaper", but he doesn't gloat about it and merely sees it as a playful nickname. He has named his scythe Haemon (meaning "bloody") after it's red tint and the death of his mother, and he often resorts to using his weaker metal katana he made himself when his scythe won't do the job or when steel is more effective. He has named it Akakios (meaning "not evil") to reassure that he will use it for good purposes and not hurt any fellow Omnividents or humans.
As a small note, he shows a great dislike towards Harper Radisson solely because her Blacksmith background reminds him too much of his father.
Being more of a lurker in the Academy, he can often be seen perching precariously out of his dorm window, hanging out in a tree or drinking soda on the rooftops. He's been examining the newbies for some time now, and has devised several ways to "welcome" them (Spoiler alert; He's going to prank them). However, seeing the state of how things seem to be turning out, he can't help but sign up for the club a few days late to brush up on his training and help bust a few spectral heads.

Biography: Alastor was born after his mom had died while going through labor. While his father was driving his wife to the hospital during labor, their car mysteriously exploded similar to the way the club bus had exploded years later. His father had survived with only minor injuries, but his mother had broken several limbs and was knocked unconcious. After effectively carrying the corpse of his wife to the nearby hospital, he had experienced much grief when he heard his wife had died. However, a strange and rare occurance had taken place; during the car crash, his wife had shielded her baby, and the baby had survived with minor injuries and some minor mutations, one being colorless hair.
His father used to be a weapon collector before meeting his wife, and examined the greatest traits of his best weapons to forge master weapons of his own. In this same way, he had raised his only son as he would create a weapon; expose it to heat, let it burn, then let it cool down. His father was very strict, forcing him to take part in various martial arts and teaching him the basics of weaponry. While this did give Alastor a strong passion for antique and exquisite weapons, it also made him resent his father more and more as he had no mother to comfort him during these years. During puberty, his father began to see how rebellious he was becoming, and attempted to counter this change with much, much more strict punishment. As he neared his teenage years, this strict punishment and cycle of torture only fueled his rebellious side until one day the faint image of bloodstained transparent wings shielded him from his father's assault, protecting him from all harm. His father, in his blind rage, decided that the only way to combat this new defense was with even more force (he was too blinded by his rage for his son's rebellion to realize what had just happened), and although this did nothing to help, he had made Alastor even more angry. He swiped his hand across his father's face, and a long, red scythe with a huge blade appeared in his hands. Although it had looked like the weapon had gone straight through him, it had simply knocked him back a great distance, and no injuries could be seen on his body. Still, his father had gone from rage to fear, and began shouting that his son was a "demon", and that his son was going to kill him. Seconds later, Alastor fell unconcious, and woke up to find that he had been left in the care of Mr. Joshua Albright. Since then his home has essentially been the Academy since he was 12, and Mrs. Grey had been more of a mother to him than to anyone else in the Academy. Being raised in the Academy, he had been taught the ways of the Artes Angelorum by the club as well as math and language skills beyond his years before he was even old enough to be accepted into the academy as a student. However, the strict studying regimen had started to reveal his rebellious nature yet again, and he was becoming more lazy with his studies and was turning into a bold problem child ever so slowly. As soon as Albright caught wind of his change, he used his father as an example of what not to do and lightened up the regimen slowly but drastically, and as such Alastor has been caught on the edge of being rebellious to his superiors and loyal to the Academy.
The bus explosion reminded him painfully of his mother's death, and it didn't help that Albright (who had been more of a father to him then his real father was) had died in the explosion as well.
Despite being born in America, his parents were pure Greek and moved to America two years before Alastor was born. As a result, his name is of Greek origin as well. His father was superstitious, and 'thought' that the car accident was the result of his ancestors being angry at his moving to America. As a result, Alastor's name means "Vengeful Spirit", appropriately enough, considering how closely related the car accident and the bus explosion seem to be.
The fate of his father is still unknown.

Arte: Arte Angelorum - Donum Armament (Scythe)
Limits: not yet evaluated

Skill(s): Acrobatic, very stubborn and sturdy, strong from his father's forge. Can use various martial arts, including Brazillian Jiujutsu, Karate and kickboxing. Fast runner. Can fly faster then most can run for short periods with his wings, and can shift and contort the size and shape of his scythe as needed. Can jump very high and can slow descent using wings.

Hopefully this one is a little more canon. If you wish, you can remove the red tint on the wings and weapon, but there is no rule against tinted wings and it better adds to the "Grim Reaper" theme and the symbolism in the death of his mother as well as the abuse of his father.

He seems way too rebellious to be someone who studies Arte Angelorum.

I'm going to have to agree with Jin, Angelorum disciples are defined by their discipline. While your eagerness is greatly valued, with so many members in the RP I need to be a bit more choosy with everyone who gets in from here on out. That being said, if you really want to get in, don't give up!

Rather than choosing an arte because of the powers it may grant you, choose an arte that matches your character's personality. Also, I'm not going to accept loopholes or a deviance within an arte. Self-lightning granting Naturae? Undisciplined Angelorum but not rogue? The characters are typically defined by their traits, to go against that would be like making an uncanon fan-character. Fit your character to the world, not the other way around.

Please also refrain from child-prodigy-ism. Take away their powers and the SDU club, they're more or less regular kids. There's nothing wrong with a character simply having an average life before developing their powers. Not every bio needs to be an action adventure story.

Also when I refer to abilities, I mean average, non-supernatural, mundane, talents. I state the limits of powers as to what can and cannot be done by the individual. Also just for clarification the Angelorum wings don't actually do anything beyond appear when their powers are in use, and "protect them during times of emergency".

If you don't want to make another bio I'd understand, but I honestly don't think you should give up if this is your passion. Just as an fyi though if you no longer wish to join this particular RP. I will have another project to release in the next coming weeks which might tickle your interests.

(Don't worry everyone, this RP is still my lovechild and I will never let it die.) So everyone who still needs to post get cracking.

I guess adding myself in at this current time would be rather intrusive, anyway. I'm not giving up, don't get me wrong, but I'll wait until your next RP world comes along, and if I like it more then this one, I'll just jump right into it and stop pestering you with this one and join that one. If it's not, I will try my hardest to take all of the things that you said and make a character that's much more canon (and I don't mean "Alastor" canon, I mean staying within the limits and following the guidelines for once ).

Either way, I look forward to doing the best I can in either series.

Excuse my absence, moving in and whatnot has been hectic, back now though!

Seeing as things have slowed to a crawl, I'm going to wait to see what type of progression occurs on the weekend, if it remains the same I'm just going to skip ahead. This training scene isn't all that significant that it should take forever to move along >.>
