gEmssbguy is talking about combos and reads, not "sit here while I PAWNCH you" style, although that has more swag.

Oh yeah. Then I agree. Falcon Punch is useful for those. But I don't think it's OP.

At it's speed, Falcon punch can't really be OP unless it'd do an absurd amount of KB (like, more than Warlock Punch.)

Well of course it's not too OP. It's range was reduced alot compared to the Smash games.

To be real this iteration of Falcon Punch is probably the best out of any Smash game. It is seriously an actual good move in SSF2, and in some situations preferable to other options such as forward smash and possibly knee.

it's aight, but not the 'best' option in any situation that I can think of. you need a hard read to use it, and if you don't get the read, you get punished. this means it's an unsafe option compared to knee, stomp, etc.

i've been fthrow -> knee -> reverse falcon punched while playing zss i mean its so much faster than official smash games and still just as powerful its actually a viable option sometimes

DUDE, that's like swag at it's finest. I can't wait to try that, thanks! I think it's more powerful. At least moreso than Brawl and Smash 4.

after watching Falcon a little bit on stream, I'm putting together a list of potential changes: - Sparkly effects on some of his moves (Knee, Dair, Utilt)
- Shorter UpB. However as a tradeoff it now has a cool sparkly effect so I think this is overall a buff (Kappa).
- Possible change to Utilt due to sparkly effect on it. Potential sweetspot at the beginning of the move? (only other sparkly moves are Knee and Stomp, both of which have sweetspots).
- Possible SideB change - looks like it has less startup? (maybe just a visual change)
- Maybe a faster dtilt. Again, could just be an animation change or nothing at all, nobody uses the move enough on stream to make sure.
I'll keep updating as I see new stuff.

"Come on!" as a taunt was added. I wonder if he has 3 taunts now.
