No one even found the cure to the common cold yet!

Also, the cure for the common cold is lots of rest.

I mean some sort of Antibiotic. Like penicillin.

Antibiotics are not the answer. Trust in my judgement that it is so.

How do you know? Do you know how much undiscovered plant and animal life is still in the rainforests to this day? Any one of those undiscovered creatures could hold the cure to the common cold. Hell, there's even chances, albeit slim, that one of them could hold the cure for cancer.

We're not going to find anything in the rainforest, if we keep mowing it down for paper and land.

If you know what causes the common you wouldn't be arguing with me now would you?

Cancer is a bit easier to cure, because they fall in well defined types. Heck, some cancers are already treatable and there are more than just Lance Armstrong toting the label "cancer survivor."

Common cold is caused by Rhinovirus. I DO go to school, you know. And, yes, we can treat cancer, but it usually comes back later. We have no way to cure it.

The cure for the common cold is waiting a week.

And antibiotics are not the answer. They may work at first, but then they slowly take over your immune system (If continuously taken) and then you will die from practically anything if you don't keep taking it.

I would also like to add that antibiotics tend to help Drug-resistant strains of the respective disease to survive, further screwing you over. One such example is MDR TB.

Let's stop talking about the common cold and get back on to topic. This is the point:

WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE

Thank you.

Of course we are. Eventually. You'll probably either die of old age, a disease, or a car accident.
