Alpha Ken and Ryu costumes. I don't particulary care for the Alpha designs and Ken especially seems a bit rough around the edges but I like the concept of 'canon costumes'.


Also a beta of the story mode SF V will have. It seems like rather than the usual arcade-only endings, we'll get a fully fleshed out storyline. I dig the art, it sorta reminds me of Skullgirls. I'm super keen about this because a full story mode is something I really, really wanted.

Data mining has also revealed voice clips for Fan and the other characters but I can't be bothered to post them so just google them if you want to I guess.

I actually rather like Rashid's, can't wait to hear it finished.

Same here. It would make for some insane hype and really change the game in terms of how people handled leaks, but whyyyyyyyy has it never been done, man...

It looks better in motion tbh, but even then it still seems a bit rough. I assume they will be polishing it gradually as they have done with all the graphics in Beta so far.

Ken's face in general is bad though... I know I'm not alone in that sentiment, but all of my local friends and my brothers think I'm crazy.

It just looks like they can't get it right.

Some new gameplay footage featuring R. Mika suggests that her animations have been censored recently. Most noticeably, her butt smack just before using her super move no longer has the camera pointing square at her butt, but now points at her upper body, with her butt completely out of frame. Kinda disappointing.

It's a single video that shows the move being used right at the edge of the stage. It's probably a glitch, the camera looks janky as f*** when it happens.

That doesn't stop clickbaiters from going "THIS IS DEFINITELY CENSORSHIP", though.

And even if it is an actual change, it's not f*** censorship. The game is a beta, of course things are going to be changed. Maybe the devs just decided they wanted to focus on her face instead.

She's still dressed the same. She's still slapping her a**. If it's a change meant to appease puritans, it's a terrible attempt.

Don't jump to conclusions. If Capcom come out and say "yeah we changed it because people whined" then sure, call me an idiot. I'm just sick of seeing some people having a s*** over this.

I don't get why people neccesarily get so upset over things like this. Some people lost their s*** when Skullgirls shadowed out some of the pantyshots as well. I mean I guess if the developer does it with a 'hlier-than-thou' attitude I can understand the annoyance but I feel like people get way to worked up about things like this.

Like Kyuubit says even if the camera angle changed she still wears the same outfit so either or it doesn't leave much to the imagination.

well in the case of skullgirls it's putting effort into changing something largely inconsequential for reasons that don't make sense in an attempt to seemingly please an audience that isn't interested in favor of the one they've already established

I will agree with you that the Skullgirls thing was a pretty dumb especially since it was so inconsistant (and therefore censoring felt kinda useless not to mention Cerebella's Level 3 super.) and that the devs had a rather poor attitude about it on second thought, but I dunno, it really just rubs me the wrong way that some people are so quick to turn towards angry behavior not just because of the censorship issue but because they don't get their 2D/3D butts and boobs. That's the extremes tho so I probably just shouldn't let it get to me but eh

While some folks think it's dumb to be this possessive of butts and boobs, the inverse is also true, that it's pretty dumb to be so defensive against butts and boobs. If you're gonna have it, own it, and don't act like censorship is mature or enlightened.
