Ehh this came out 2 months ago, but yeah there's a prequel/spin-off coming out called Valkyria: Azure Revolution.
They added close combat, which is pretty cool. Unfortunately, they took away all strategy elements from the original series and now it's basically a real time RPG. I'm not really feeling it so far. http://gematsu.com/2016/02/40-minutes-v ... creenshots _________________

Its definitely different than Valkyria Chronicles. It looks like a pretty solid RPG tho
