I've started making animations for Lyn, and I'm gonna spend most of my time on sheeting her. I think Lyn is the perfect candidate for animation practice because her design is simple with advance parts, like her hair and the sword. Here's how I'm gonna focus on animations: Draw them out on Monday and Tuesday, refine them on Wednesday, add details on Thursday, and shade and refine more on Friday. |

The walk animation is too feminine. Also I feel like the blue color needs to be edited. Tone down the contrast on it. _________________      |

I couldn't really come up with anything else to do for the swinging arm. I didn't want to put it behind her hip, so I may just have her bald her hand to a fist or something. |

I am actually very impressed with the legs on that walking animation, but I have to agree with Hero; it just doesn't fit Lyn.
I suggest keeping her current stance and make her do a sort of crossover walk where her hand is placed on her sword, as if she is walking with intent of striking soon. Hard to describe and definitely not easy to sprite, but I think it would fit Lyn well. SSF2 uses dark colors for most of it's character sprites, which makes it seem decent. The sprite itself it's good, just try using different colors for the dress/clothes she has on. Remember she has to match Marth since they're from the same universe. >

Finally updated the OP with some sprites that I made between the time frame of today and a month ago.
I'm gonna redo Lyn when I feel I've perfected this style and then try to make her in this style. |
