sort of like the friends list but you can tag people to see what they are.
like, for example, let's take.. kiki. her profile at the left goes:
Kiki
SSF2 Dev
well, if we added tags, i could tag her so it says something like:
Kiki
Butterfree
SSF2 Dev
whereas if someone else tags her, it says on their screen:
Kiki
Swagmaster
SSF2 Dev
i dunno if this could be done but i'd love to tag everyone something like "Brogram" "Brotagonist" "Broccupied" "Broccoli" "Brodar" "Brotector" etc

Oh actually I could see this being useful for the same reason the nickname thing is on Skype, like I have a few friends who change their Skype name a lot so I nickname them their actual name so I never get confused.

i feel like this would be exploited almost instantly
users would be tagged things inappropriately and then people would screencap and sig, etc

if anyone's seriously using the tag to unironically tag someone something inappropriate then i doubt they'd know how to upload an image

i think that's a really naive opinion That said, while i'm certain it will be abused, it won't be visible to other people without the abuser intentionally going out of their way to send a screenshot, in which case that can be dealt with appropriately I don't know if it's possible to do but I'd love to see it happen. Some of you guys change your names too damn much

if this is really that much of an issue then get Ray to keep a list of people who changed their names and what they changed it to
just check that if you don't know who somebody is

that sounds like a hassle to ray though
plus it'd be useful to name people after what they did like for example could tag verb "Pro-Death"

no more of a hassle than actually changing the names is
when your response to a suggestion is "but I want the mods/admins to be more lazy" then it's not a good response
