don't be dumb. he's not intentionally making characters bad, pichu aside.
and no, FD isn't really the best stage for rushdown characters since platforms allow them to avoid projectiles easier. not to mention that they have more moibility in general on stages like battlefield. if anything FD helps campy characters the most or ones that rely on chaingr-- wait
i know he has more combos but one of the more surprising is the one i listed.
i've played a lot of robin since day one lmao.

Robin's Matchup Thread. There was a very lengthy discussion on Rosaluma and people concluded it was 50-50 or 55-45 in Rosalina's favour. Considering how light she is, and Robin doesn't have too much of a hard time getting rid of Luma with is Rapid Jab and Arcfire, you can make it more manageable so long as you don't over rely on projectiles. Also, on the side, for the Ness MU, you want to always use Arcthunder or Thoron against him. PSI Magnet will only absorb the first hit so he will only get like 4% at most from both of them.
Sorry, I probably should have left that part on rushdowns out. Point is, Robin sucks on FD and "campy" characters still annoy Robin by blocking his spells.

yeah, for the most part they do characters that have to approach robin but don't focus on rushdown (i.e. marth) tend to have a lot of trouble with him though, and especially characters with big hitboxes. poor Bowser..

Yeah, Robin's matchup spread is very weird. I'm interested in playing you in Robin dittos, but I only have 3DS version.

I'm a Robin main. I comain him with Greninja. Secondaries of Bowser Jr, Luigi and Ganondorf.

ganondorf isn't nearly as bad as he is in brawl. My least favorite character used to be him in smash 4 but now I would say probably jiggs. Her attacks have very poor range her air speed is a lot less then in the other smash games too.

Best thing about Ganondorf in Brawl (as far as I can remember) is his Short hop DAir. It was hilarious when you grab a Timer and just DAir like 4 times.

yeah ganondorf will always be one of my favorites to play as his whole moveset is disrespectful. he doesn't even look like he's trying.

I like Jiggs
I'm an ultracasual though so I have no idea if she's a "good" character or not

I'd put her at mid-high tier. Everything she can do in melee she can do here, but slower of course to match the game's speed.

not really, different airdodge mechanics make it a lot harder to pull off combos
