No, it's entirely possible Xerneas could be a stage hazard or even boss. Until Sakurai says "pokeball", we don't know what it is for sure

she does the same animation when mario uses fludd at her so it probably draws helpful items to her and harmful things around her

Just saw the Rosalina trailer and oh mah gawd she looks amazing. I just gotta wonder how huge her learning curve will be when it comes to those Luma desyncs though.

Rosalina is more than a spin-off character, no wait! with her appearing in 3 core Mario games and being playable in one of those, that actualy makes her a core character in the same level as Mario and co. for this game. That means spin-offs have a minimal relevance with the inclusion of a character, in fact, has SSB ever had a spin-off character? I think it was only Dr. Mario in Melee.

I really liked what I saw on the trailer.

Pretty character, incredible design options (nobody can complain about her being a clone), and bunches of mini stuff which is always good.

She's even more of a core character than other characters who debuted in core Mario games. Wario has only appeared in one Mario game since his debut in SML2 (which was the remake of Super Mario 64 for the DS) and Daisy has only appeared in spin-off games since her appearance in Super Mario Land.

and i'm upset because they revealed another mario character
i'm happy we got something but can we just reveal another pokemon character or another zelda character or something? i wouldn't mind if rosalina was announced later but i get excited over zelda, kid icarus, or pokemon. not mario (anymore).

Goddamnit Nintendo, out of all the characters, you chose Rosalina. Characters like Toad or Paper Mario should have more priority, as Toad has appeared in most of the games, and Paper Mario has his own series. While maybe Paper Mario is a spin off character, Toad isn't, being playable in the main games. Also, like Rosalina, he could've rep'd the SMG series with the Toad brigade. Of course, she DOES keep toad in her dress, so maybe Toad enjoys it there :/
