I don't really care much about which characters from the Kirby series come in. The only thing I'm really hoping to see (unfortunately I doubt it will happen) is the addition of more third-party characters, especially from SEGA. But knowing Nintendo's close-mindedness to the world, I am not expecting more than three or four of those.

Also, to try to see the other aspects of SSB4, what about new features? Any ideas for that? I was thinking a character creator (I heard gossip that Nintendo said they were making that for 3DS, but I'm not sure if it's true, and I won't get my hopes up for that yet).

Finally: What are you expecting to see for the 3DS? Obviously 3D, but regardless of that, are you expecting Melee or Brawl graphics, as well as either a Melee or Brawl-type engine incorporated in SSB4?

I can't wait until they finish off Kid Icarus: Uprising so that they'll start on SSB4 already.

EDIT: Personally I would want Sparkster from Rocket Knight. With the sword and the Jet Pack, of course he's a viable character, especially saying that he would be a bit more unique. However I am doubting this since Konami has been as far away from him as you could imagine. However Nintendo had a game starring him, and they had brought back Pit in SSBB, so who knows? Maybe with Konami's permission or something... I won't assume that it's possible though.

They need a new version of race to the finish with different difficulty levels, like target test. I think that would be kind of cool.

1st Bold: If that's in, that would be pretty cool, but IMO it shouldn't be in if there are a load of characters in SSB4 already, or if DLC is included in SSB4.
2nd Bold: Probably Brawl.
3rd Bold: Melee's, I guess?

Something i find funny, comparing this topic to this one this one here they have two different views on third party characters in SSB4, this topic people seem to want more of them, meanwhile the other one people want less.

Still, everyone has their opinions, and apparently this forum wants more 3rd party characters in SSB4.
We'll just have to wait and see...

Maybe we're more open minded to third party characters since SSF2 is at least half non-nintendo characters. Not sure exactly how many, to be honest, but that's my theory.

Honestly, if we get more 3rd party characters, in all I only want 3-4 of them.
The SSB4 roster IMO doesn't need a lot of 3rd party characters.
That other forum probably thinks that 3rd party characters are useless and take up space for a better character that could be there.

Frankly I think that one character for each of the main companies that helped Nintendo grow to greatness (Konami, Capcom, Square, and apparently Sega) is really enough. And I know who it would be too: Simon Bellmont (or Snake if they decide to keep him), Sonic, Geno/Cecil/Terra, and Ryu. Well that's the most likely set from what I can tell.

Agreed. Ryu is not the right choice for a Capcom character. Then again, he's a better idea then a Resident Evil character. I say they will put Megaman in, but I will really be satisfied with anyone. I don't care if they put in Megaman, Viewtiful Joe, Ryu or even some other Capcom character. No matter who is in, it will not ruin Super Smash Brothers. I mean, if Pichu, Jiggly Puff, Toon Link and Snake didn't ruin Super Smash Brothers, why would Viewtiful Joe or Ryu ruin it?

I only say Ryu because of Capcoms MASSIVE boner over him. Personally I think EVERYONE wants Mega Man instead of him, but Capcom doesn't seem to like him anymore from what I've heard.

IMO I don't think Ryu's ever gonna step into a Smash Bros. game.
I think Megaman would be the best choice to represent Capcom, but then again, I don't think Capcom's gonna get a rep at all...

Jokes aside, I disagree. Ryu would be a possible one, but come on. The Nintendo community would rather have Megaman in. I mean, Megaman was one of the must-play games of the Nintendo consoles, iirc.

You all seem to be forgetting that Nintendo isn't on Capcom's terms, it's vice versa. Nintendo, and by extension, Sakurai, will acknowledge the wants of the fans and will supply. Regardless of Capcom's opinion, what it comes down to is what's best for the game and for satisfying the fanbase, which is Mega Man.
