Ladies, gentlemen and everything in between, it's officially that time of year again. The presents have been opened, the calendars have been replaced, and now we collectively sit 'round the fire and look back on the year. 2015 was an eventful year for MG -- local sjw Luke released his mixtape and got promoted to global mod, the MG Slack was set up as we collectively abandoned Skype, a guy killed himself and then came back, and we had a legendary discussion about LGBT topics. And now, to kick off 2016, we'll immortalize our favorite moments of 2015. In this series of polls, we will honor the most entertaining, well-thought out and high quality post this forum has seen all year. Which post might that be? It's up to you to decide!

Update 1/30: Another year has passed, and we've found our new f***' memes. Thanks to everyone who voted! As with last year, if you have suggestions for how the competition could be improved next year, feel free to talk to me, I'm open to fresh ideas. Initial voting will take place over eight rounds to decide our Top 8 semifinalists. There will be two semifinal rounds to determine our top two finalists, followed by the final round. Voting will be done off-site, in order to ensure that the results are hidden until ready to be revealed. Voting will be open for two days each round.

THE FINAL ROUND voting ended and the winner was announced at 10:00PM eastern, January 30th
Semifinal Round 2 voting ended and THE FINAL ROUND began at 10:00PM eastern, January 28th
Semifinal Round 1 voting ended and Semifinal Round 2 began at 10:00PM eastern, January 26th
Quarterfinal Round 4 voting ended and Semifinal Round 1 began at 10:00PM eastern, January 24th
Quarterfinal Round 3 voting ended and Quarterfinal Round 4 began at 10:00PM eastern, January 22nd
Quarterfinal Round 2 voting ended and Quarterfinal Round 3 began at 10:00PM eastern, January 20th
Quarterfinal Round 1 voting ended and Quarterfinal Round 2 began at 10:00PM eastern, January 18th
Round 8 voting ended and Quarterfinal Round 1 began at 12:00AM eastern, January 17th
Round 7 voting ended and Round 8 began at 12:00AM eastern, January 15th
Round 6 voting ended and Round 7 began at 12:00AM eastern, January 13th

Are there any objections to making these rounds last one day each rather than two?

This round will stay two days of course because that's what I wrote in the OP & I want to see how many people still vote after the 24h mark, but if there are no // very few votes on the 2nd day I see no reason not to do one per day
