Comedy gold 10/10 would laugh several times again.

No, I love Smash Bros because it's a great game. PASBR's also a pretty high quality game, and I like it a lot, but it's not as good as Smash Bros. I never pretended it wasn't.

But between
-the majority of Smash players immediately writing it off as a ripoff/because they didn't like the characters/whatever without giving it a shot or acknowledging that Smash didn't invent that kind of gameplay in the first place or acknowledging that "genres" are a thing
-"Competitive" rulesets that remove all the stages except a few of the most dull ones in the game and all the items for the sake of balance over actual enjoyment
-A vast majority are entirely unwilling to move from their positions on anything, all the time (For example, the people that think characters can have a canon size (or any kind of canon anything) in Smash)
-And a near autistic tendency to jump on absolutely anything they don't like
I've grown unable to stand the Smash community over the last few years. PASBR has a bit to do with it, but it's more the straw that broke the camel's back than anything else

Well those autistic people do sure require a lot of attention yet they struggle with things so maybe Scott thinks they're useless and require more attention, time, etc. than the average person does making Scott mad that they get treated better than everyone else even though they're useless.
