Sorry if it wasn't obvious that I was talking about the moves that don't.

Instead of a reference to balloon fight, he should have another move that comes out of his series. That should just go with out saying.

Making retro references to classic Nintendo games = something that happens all the damn time in Animal Crossing
(Plus balloons appear a lot in Animal Crossing, with presents you need to knock out of the sky with a slingshot)

Balloons are a huge part of Animal Crossing, so sneaking in a Balloon Fighter reference seems really cool to me. Also correct me if I'm wrong, but Punch Out was one of the NES games you could find in the first animal crossing, so that's also a small neat reference. It's like a move and a half dude.

refer to my previous post.

I just thought it was an odd choice for his recovery to reference balloon fight, that's all.

You could play balloon fight in the original AC too, but it still seemed strange. But yeah I guess it's not too bad. I just want my villager represented right!
